The Company was established in March 2003 by Marc Weston, who, as a result of redundancy from a local, established building contractor, identified a niche in the market for a responsive team to deal with all manner of minor building requirements and general maintenance.

In the early days, the Company was fortunate enough to secure a major building contract in St Martins to construct and complete eleven detached dwellings for a local client. As a result, Marcwell Maintenance limited was never properly marketed and did not commence advertising and seeking additional work until early summer 2004. The rest is history!

All of our staff are direct employed, professional trades people covering aspects such as carpentry, plumbing, decorating, electrical and minor general building works.

From its inception, Marcwell Maintenance Limited has always placed the emphasis on customer service and value for money as well as top quality and efficiency. Our Mission Statement says it all! "Your Property, Our Passion, Proud to be of Service"

With clients ranging from The States of Guernsey, major commercial companies, hotels and industrial businesses as well as local, domestic households, our reputation has been built upon the provision of a first class service to everyone, regardless of their particular circumstances.

The Company has expanded ten fold over the past few years and to ensure that the quality and efficiency aspects of the business have never wavered, Marc decided to incorporate several other supporting companies to both spread the work load and provided specialist expertise in several key areas.

Whilst Marcwell Maintenance Limited remains the parent Company of the Marcwell Group, the same principles and standards are continually applied throughout the organisation to ensure that islanders and businesses alike continue to receive the best possible service at competitive cost.

Now well established locally and working in both Alderney and Jersey the future looks bright for this small, friendly local Company but the challenge remains the same!
